Dr. Tommy Chan received his masters and Ph.D. degrees in clinical psychology at Michigan State University, U.S.A. in 1994 and is licensed to independently practise in California, U.S.A in 1996. He is registered as a clinical psychologist in Australia and a member and registered clinical psychologist of the Hong Kong Psychological Society. He has attained full membership status with the American Psychological Association and the Australian Psychological Society. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Forensic Examiner. |

In addition to receiving a number of U.S. academic honours, Dr. Chan has had extensive clinical experience in psychological treatment in different settings including general and psychiatric hospitals, outpatient clinics, private practice, government agencies and university clinics. He has served as a clinical psychologist at a Hong Kong public hospital. Dr. Chan has also assumed different supervisory and teaching roles. For example, he served as a clinical supervisor for the Department of Mental Health, County of Los Angeles, U.S.A. and is a part-time lecturer for the Hong Kong Nursing Staff Association. |

Dr. Chan serves as a clinical psychologist and consultant to private hospitals, medical organizations, multinational corporations, foreign consulates, insurance companies, international schools and public institutions. He regularly conducts various mental/behavioural health workshops and training seminars. He currently holds weekly outpatient clinics at the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital and the Matilda International Hospital, as well as serving as the Director of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for Quality Healthcare Asia Ltd. in Hong Kong. |

Dr. Chan specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of a wide range of psychological and behavioural health problems, especially in stress-related conditions for working professionals and families. |
